NectarFi
NectarFi (also branded Nectar Finance) is a self-custodial financial app that packages virtual USD/EUR accounts, Visa spend, crypto and tokenised-stock trading, and an on-chain “trust score” for Global South users. It was co-founded by Felix Daniel and Stephanie Okeke, raised a $170,000 pre-seed, and opened publicly after a private beta across Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.1
History
During private access NectarFi reported 1,000+ users in eight countries (including Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Brazil and Indonesia) and about $7.2 million in volume. Public launch coverage in 2026 framed the product as a unified crypto-plus-banking interface on Solana, with partners such as Raincards, Jupiter, Privy, Ondo and Perena.2
Founders
Felix Daniel is founder and chief executive officer.
Stephanie Okeke is co-founder. Together they positioned NectarFi around portable on-chain credit for people excluded from traditional bureaus.
Model
NectarFi is explicitly not a bank: assets sit in user-controlled smart contracts rather than on the company’s balance sheet. Fiat on-ramps (Nigerian bank transfer, Brazil PIX, Southeast Asian scan-to-pay, SWIFT) and cards are provided through partners. The thesis is self-custody with a familiar account/card UX.
Products
Self-custodial wallet; virtual US and EUR accounts; Visa cards; gasless crypto trading and tokenised equities; P2P payments; and an on-chain credit/trust score intended to unlock borrowing later.
