Doux
Doux (Doux Finance) is a consumer neobank-style app that lets users hold fiat (USD, EUR, GBP, NGN) and crypto (including BTC, ETH, SOL and USD stablecoins) in one account, then spend on virtual and physical Visa/Mastercard cards with automatic conversion at the point of sale.1
History
Doux launched as “the neo bank for digital currencies,” targeting Africans who earn or hold dollars and crypto but spend locally. In 2026 it added native EUR and GBP receive wallets so inbound European and UK payments need not convert through USD first.2
Model
Doux is a fintech wallet with card issuing, not a full deposit-taking bank. Crypto and stablecoins convert automatically for card spend and NGN withdrawals to local banks. The company publishes standard regulatory and risk disclaimers that it is not itself a bank.
Products
Multi-currency fiat and crypto wallets, Doux ID and wallet-to-wallet sends, local NGN withdrawals, and virtual plus physical cards accepted on Visa/Mastercard networks.
