Tom Blomfield

Tom Blomfield is co-founder and early chief executive of Monzo. An Oxford-educated entrepreneur and GoCardless co-founder, he became the public face of Monzo's coral card and crowdfunding culture.1

Career

Blomfield briefly served as COO at Starling Bank before founding Mondo/Monzo with teammates who left Starling early. He received an OBE for services to fintech competition, stepped down as CEO in 2020, left Monzo in 2021, and later joined Y Combinator as a partner.
