History
Infinex emerged from teams connected to the Synthetix ecosystem with a thesis that UX fragmentation, not missing protocols, blocks mainstream onchain finance. It competes with other wallet super-apps such as Defidotapp.
Founders
Kain Warwick is the founder of Infinex, a non-custodial DeFi super-app, and previously founded Synthetix, one of decentralised finance's foundational protocols. An Australian entrepreneur, Warwick launched Synthetix in 2017 (evolving from earlier projects) to enable onchain synthetic assets and later popularised yield-farming mechanics associated with "DeFi Summer."
With Infinex (founded 2023), Warwick's thesis is that UX fragmentation, not missing protocols, blocks mainstream onchain finance.
